Abstract
Care giving can be a challenging task in contemporary working culture due to high level of competition, stress, responsibilities, and inadequate support from organizations or government. The leave management policies of India aim to balance maintenance of individual wellbeing and achievement of organizational goals. Living in a collectivist society, every individual is bound by responsibilities of self and those dependent on him/her, which further accelerates inability to manage work life balance if not given adequate external support. Purpose of the study was to articulate the need for dedicated Parent Care Leave in Indian Corporates and understand the key aspects like organizational support, extension of leaves, financial and social compensation, the role of gender and distribution work, rising need of healthcare assistance by companies, etc. The study's main findings indicate that to maintain work-life balance, employees in Indian corporations—public and private—need to be integrated into programs for the assistance of elderly dependents or non-statutory parent care leave compliance. The participants emphasized the importance of helping employees meet their basic needs, uphold high standards in their personal as well as their professional lives, to help them reach their full potential in the psycho-social domain through flexible work culture designs. The study indicated a requirement for a more inclusive, flexible and sustainable environment to retain employees and provide a supportive work atmosphere. The sample consisted of 10 participants, whereas the saturation was achieved after the 6th participant. The data was analyzed and was coded through repeated measures and were placed under four broader themes namely- Financial and social assistance, Healthcare and medical facilities, Gender and responsibility, and Effect on work life balance.

Abstract
This study focuses on psychological well-being and employee performance in the IT sector. Ryan & Deci (2001) defined psychological well-being as hedonic (enjoyment, pleasure, and eudaimonic (meaning, fulfillment) happiness, as well as resilience (coping, emotion regulation, healthy problem solving). Omar (2010) defined employee performance as the way employee complete their assigned work and perform required responsibilities. Psychological well-being affects how employees perform at work. The population of this study consisted of 145 IT employees. The data was collected through snowball sampling across different states. Standardized tools were used to collect data. The Psychological Well-being Scale by Ryff & Keyes’ (1995) and the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire by Koopmans (2015) were used. The findings show that participants in the 21-30 years age group have higher personal growth when compared to other age groups, and freshers have higher personal growth when compared to participants with more than three years of experience. This study also shows that lower-level employees have more purpose in life than middle-level and higher-level employees. The result shows that the components of psychological well-being (self-acceptance, purpose in life, environmental mastery, positive relations with others, personal growth, and autonomy) affect the components of employee performance (task performance, contextual performance, and counterproductive work behavior) in the IT sector.

Abstract
This study explores the relationship between leadership styles and workplace stress in the IT industry of India. A total of 158 professionals participated in this quantitative research, which used the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) by Bass and Avolio (1992) to evaluate leadership styles and the Perceived Stress Scale developed by Sheldon Cohen (1988) to measure workplace stress. The results of the analysis reveal that transactional, transformational, and laissez-faire leadership styles have a negative correlation with workplace stress. The research suggests that adopting effective leadership approaches can help reduce stress levels among IT professionals. As well, the study identifies interesting connections between gender, salary scale, and workplace stress. These factors contribute to the complexity of stress dynamics in the IT workplace, highlighting the need for a holistic approach to promoting organizational well-being. The findings of this research provide valuable insights into leadership dynamics and stress management in the IT sector. The study also discusses practical implications for organizational strategies, underlining the importance of customizing leadership approaches to alleviate workplace stress and enhance employee well-being.

Keywords: Leadership styles, workplace stress, IT sector, Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ), Perceived Stress Scale, gender, salary scale, employee well-being.

Abstract
This research investigates the critical relationship between psychological well-being and the General health of women employees working in the garment industries. In recent years, the garment industry has witnessed a substantial influx of female labour, making it an essential economic contributor in many regions. However, this sector's work environment is often characterized by factors such as long working hours, repetitive tasks, and low wages, which can take a toll on the mental and physical health of the female workforce. The study employs a quantitative method, to comprehensively assess the impact of psychological well-being on health status of women employees in garment industries. The research aims to understand the psychological stressors these women face in their workplace. The research focuses on the Garment industries from Tirupur district in Tamil Nadu. The data collection tools used in the study are GHQ-28 proposed by Goldberg and Hillier, 1979 and PWB-18 proposed by Ryff and Keyes, 1995. The results revealed that there is a significant relationship between psychological well-being and General Health of women employees working in garment industries. However, the results show that psychological well-being is a part of General Health and certain factors assessed by the PWB-18 scale are correlated with the General Health. Recognizing the pivotal role women play in the global garment industry, this research is not only academically significant but also holds substantial implications for the well-being and empowerment of a significant portion of the global labour force.

A quantitative research approach was employed to collect data from a sample of 110 employees working in various manufacturing organizations. Correlation and regression analyses were conducted to explore the relationships between employee retention strategies and job satisfaction. The findings of this study revealed significant positive correlations between the implementation of employee retention strategies and job satisfaction (r=0.462, p <0.001), indicating that as employee retention strategies increase, job satisfaction also increases. Additionally, the regression analysis indicated thatretention strategies do have a strong impact on job satisfaction (R2= 0.141, p< 0.01). Thus, the results of this research contribute to a better understanding of the interplay between employee retention strategies and job satisfaction in the manufacturing industry in Coimbatore. Organizations can use these insights to develop and implement effective strategies to retain their valuable employees, leading to improved job satisfaction and, subsequently, enhanced overall performance.

Abstract
The manufacturing industry, a linchpin of global economic activity, grapples with the pervasive challenges of high employee turnover and burnout. This study delves into the intricate relationship between job burnout and turnover
intention w ithin this dynamic sector, shedding light on critical factors that influence employee retention and well being. Through meticulous analysis of data from 227 individuals, significant correlations emerge, emphasizing the pivotal role of Occupational Exhausti on and Personal Accomplishment Assessment. Higher levels of Occupational Exhaustion are linked to greater Turnover Intention, underscoring the urgent need for interventions to address work related stress. Additionally, recognizing and celebrating employee achievements, as reflected in Personal Accomplishment Assessment, is associated with lower Turnover Intention. The findings spotlight the imperative for organizations to implement strategies that enhance employee well being and foster a supportive work environment. This research not only advances our understanding of the challenges faced by the manufacturing workforce but also provides actionable insights for industry stakeholders to cultivate a sustainable and thriving workforce in this critical sector.
