ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATION
CA Intermediate Eligibility Criteria 2024
If you want to register for the CA Intermediate course, two options are available. First, you can go through the CA Foundation course. Second, you can take the direct entry route after completing your graduation, postgraduation, or a specific professional degree programme. CA Intermediate eligibility criteria are released by the ICAI official website every year for both sessions, i.e., May and November. The CA intermediate eligibility criteria highlights are given in the table below.

CA Final Eligibility Criteria 2024
Before you register for the CA Final exam 2024, it’s important to ensure you meet the CA eligibility requirements set by ICAI. Here are the main things you need to meet before applying:
- Pass all the papers in Group 1 and Group 2 in one attempt, with at least 40% in each paper and 50% overall.
- Complete the Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) after registering for the Intermediate course but before starting Practical Training (PT).
- Undergo a two-year Practical Training (PT) as per the new regulations, instead of three years as it was previously.
- Complete the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) before appearing for the CA Final exam, as specified by ICAI.
Finish self-paced online learning modules with at least 50% marks after completing the CA Intermediate exam but before taking the CA Final exam.
