Abstract 
Developing country like India is still growing through the process of economic development; it is of great consequence and somewhat easier for her to counteract effectively the baneful effects of the Industrial Revolution, which have adversely affected the people all over the world. The need for labour welfare was strongly felt by the committee of Royal Commission on labour, primarily because of lack of commitment to industrial work among factory workers and also the harsh treatment they received from employers. This need was emphasizingon labour welfare measures in spinning mills at Dindugul District.

Abstract
In modern days banking sector is the one of pillars of the financial system; a deal with the customers banking transaction is a very huge process of maintains of hectic records due to globalization, technology improvement, innovation, the E-channels spread in worldwide and increase the efficiency of banks by enabling them to deliver the bank services. Use of this bank without branch network that offer the services in online banking, telephone banking , ATM and interbank network alliances like mail and mobile banking. The proposed paper makes attempt to highlight the awareness and requirement of customers who use the services through direct banking facility in HDFC.

Empowerment of Urban Women through Self Help Groups

Abstract 
This study is fully concerned with empowerment of urban woman through self help groups. Many studies have emphasized that rural development can be made possible only by making the rural poor especially the rural women folk, economically viable through income generating activities with required financial assistance. Moreover, collective action and collective responsibility along with sustainable economic improvement are essential factors for development at gross roots level. For this SHGs are considered the best tools and so they are launched on the basis of micro-credit system. However, it is also important to study at a glance the origin and concept of SHGs. Hence, with the above cited broad concept, the origin and concept of SHGs, as well as the progress of SHGs are discussed in this study. The important aspect of social lives now days is mostly confined to the gender issues in various socio-economic, health, demographic and cultural classification of people in India. Unfortunately females are in a historical process neglected at helm of male dominated society. This feature is still persisted in the recent period, perhaps in a different extent. Primary data and secondary data have been collected for this study. Random sampling has been chosen for data collection.

Abstract 
The Banking industry has been the mainstay of financial intermediation of our country. During the 90s, the Indian Banking sector witnessed several changes in the nature of banking activity, regulation and use of technology. A response to these changes, the Indian banking sector responded to the emerging challenges of increased compression and uncertainties. Lack of resources, absence of appropriate attitude, visions the planning; Banking has today become an extremely competitive business. However, the essential strength of the bank lies in its good customer relationship. The Commercial banks should also concentrate other type of account holders. The researcher found that the deposits from the customer is very essential than the other loan and credits services.
