Abstract 

The increasing complexity of business environments has intensified the need for advanced decision-making tools capable of handling uncertainty, scale, and speed. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a critical strategic resource that reshapes managerial decision-making processes across organizational levels. This paper critically examines AI as a strategic tool for managerial decision making by integrating perspectives from strategic management, decision theory, and information systems. Using a conceptual research framework based on secondary data sources, the study analyzes how AI-driven analytics, machine learning, and intelligent systems enhance strategic planning, risk assessment, and organizational competitiveness. The paper further explores the implications of AI adoption for managerial cognition, ethical governance, and strategic control. The findings indicate that while AI significantly improves decision quality and responsiveness, its effectiveness depends on managerial competence, ethical oversight, and organizational readiness. The study contributes to existing literature by positioning AI as a complementary strategic capability rather than a substitute for managerial judgment.
