ABSTRACT
Banking has been a vital part in the economic development of all the nations of the world. In fact, banking is the life blood of modern commerce. Excluding those traditional business-oriented functions, they have now come out to fulfil national responsibilities. Banks carter to the needs of various sections and fields like agriculture, industries, trades and to all other sections of the society. Thus, they accelerate the economic growth of the country and plays a pivotal role as heart of money circulation as to pumping money in and out of the economy.
