Abstract
In recent decades, Renewable energy has been playing vital role due to its non-polluting nature, and environmental friendly. Especially, Wind Energy System has been providing gigantic power production in and around the world. In this proposed work, Matrix converter is used in between the synchronous generator and power grid. This Converter helps to control the output voltage for variable wind speed without additional components. And also, this converter controls both terminal voltage and frequency of the generator in order to run the turbine in maximum power. The Simulation results have validated the proposed system.
