A Study on Profitability of the Infrastructure Companies in India

Issue Abstract

Abstract

The profitability of the Indian infrastructure sector is examined in this study. The infrastructure industry plays a significant role in India's economic growth. Recent large government investments in infrastructure development have increased demand for infrastructure services. Infrastructure companies have benefited from these prospects, but competition has increased as well. As a result, it is now harder for the infrastructure industry to turn a profit. This study examines the profitability of Indian infrastructure companies using a panel data analysis methodology. The study's secondary data came from financial reports published on the money control website for the years 2019 through 2023. A sample of infrastructure companies that were listed on the National Stock Exchange will be used in the study.
