Abstract
Digital payment methods are becoming more and more essential for routine activities like buying products from neighborhood small businesses. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors that influence the use of digital payments by small retailers in trichy city, as well as the expenses and taxes related to the installation of these systems. The study highlights the advantages and disadvantages of digitalization for small retail firms. Even with government and financial institution initiatives to promote digitization, a significant portion of the population lacks basic digital literacy. Several suggestions are provided in the article's conclusion for motivating small retailers to accept and use digital payments. The analyze for the random sampling method.
