Abstract 
Health care has been considered as among the most coveted and noble of all professions. Health workers are the backbone of an effective health system and they play a critical role in providing health solutions along with connecting families and communities to the health system. Frontline health workers are also increasingly critical
to addressing diseases that impact the health around the world like the current COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has created a variety of challenges throughout the nation and has impacted the health of many healthcare workers. The uncertainty of the pandemic has brought up feelings of anxiety and fear among the health care workers. In this context this study analyse the occupational hazards of health care workers during covid19 pandemic. The main objective of the study is to find out the occupational hazards health care workers during Covid 19 pandemic. The specific objectives of the study are; to identifies the health hazards of health care workers during COVID-19 pandemic and to find out the various challenges faced by health care workers during covid 19 pandemic. The study is based on both primary and secondary data. Primary data is collected through a well- designed questionnaire for analyzing the study. The data required for the study has been collected by using convenience sampling method. For this number of health care workers were selected at random from two private hospitals, one government hospital and one public health centre.
