Factors Influencing Consumers’ Purchase Decision towards Online Shopping in Tiruchirappalli District

Abstract

This study endeavors to understand the factors influencing the consumers’ purchasing decisions through online shopping. The existing literature was reviewed to discover reasons that would influence consumers positively or negatively towards shopping online. Research was conducted by distributing a questionnaire in the Tiruchirappalli to gather data for this research. From the  findings, it was discovered that respondents use internet to purchase products through online shopping because they like to save their money. Consumers purchase their products with their family suggestions, Payment mode and discount influence the consumers while shop online more. Finally some recommendations have been offered for online retailers to take initiatives for making online shopping more admired and trust worthy.
