Contribution of Intelligent Technologies to Human Resource Management Practices

Abstract 

The emergence and rapid development of intelligent technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, automation, data analytics, and digital platforms have brought substantial changes to Human Resource Management (HRM) practices. These technologies improve the effectiveness and efficiency of major HR functions including recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, employee engagement, and workforce planning. AI based systems support evidence-driven decision-making by minimizing human bias, enhancing talent matching, and predicting employee performance and retention trends. Intelligent tools also facilitate personalized learning, continuous performance feedback, and improved employee experience through automation and chatbot applications. Moreover, HR analytics plays a vital role in strengthening strategic workforce planning and organizational competitiveness. This study emphasizes how intelligent technologies have shifted HRM from traditional administrative roles to a strategic, value-oriented function. Although challenges such as data security, ethical concerns, and digital skill gaps persist, intelligent technologies remain a key driver in shaping modern and future-focused HRM practices.
